Turkish firm says four Russians on board of crashed helicopter

ANKARA, Mar 10 (PRIME) -- Four Russians were on board of a helicopter that crashed near Istanbul at 11:20 a.m. Moscow time on Friday, a spokesperson for Turkey’s Eczacibasi, which owns the helicopter, told PRIME.

Mayor Hasan Akgun of the Buyukcekmece suburb said that five people were killed in the crash, including foreigners.

The helicopter crashed on a highway within five–six minutes after departure preliminarily due to a heavy fog.

According to media reports, the helicopter carried a total of seven people, including two pilots.
